WHAT ARE RESIN BOUND DRIVEWAYS?
The Resin Bound Driveway mixes natural aggregate, marble or recycled glass (stone) and clear resin together. During the mixing process each stone is fully covered in resin and laid onto a stable base to a smooth finish. The depth of a resin bound paving surface varies between 12mm and 24mm – depending on the size, type of stone used and the application. Using a resin bound paving system allows for the combination of different sizes and colours of stone, offering a wide variety of finishes. Resin bound stone is a refreshingly resilient material. Unlike resin bonded systems, resin bound driveways incorporate two or more aggregates, adding additional strength to the surface.
